Meet Christina & Paul
Hi, I'm Christina. I am a committed Christian who seeks to serve the Living God - the Cornerstone - by loving and caring for all; meeting you where you are; whether you are a committed Christian or not.
Professional Qualifications & CredentialsPACFA Accredited Supervisor; PACFA College of Counselling; PACFA College of Supervision; CCAA Clinical / Supervisor; Master of Counselling; BA Psychology; Certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator, Workplace Training & Assessment IV
Style of counselling and values
Christina welcomes you into a comfortable, safe, and respectful environment (online or in-person) to promote growth and healing in your times of stress, uncertainty, and desperation.
She promises to respect your personal and cultural values while you seek to courageously face life’s invariable disappointments and hard decisions outside the therapy room.
She hopes to gently help you embrace and accomplish opportunities that are challenging you to break free of thought patterns and behaviours from your past; possibly patterns that could be stifling your dignity, contentment, relationships, and ability to see the "bigger picture" of your life's important and valuable journey.
Christina uses her Christian perspective and integrates evidence-based therapies to her work. Therapeutic approaches include: Gottman Institute methods (incl Betrayal/Affair Recovery), Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT for Couples), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour therapy (DBT), Person-Centered, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Existential (to name a few).

Paul here! I am also a committed Christian. I have previously volunteered for LifeLine, and currently assists folks who are on a self-managed NDIS plan with transportation and home/living support, IT/Tech assistance and software application training. I love educating couples who are preparing for marriage, providing the "male perspective" in sessions, and mentoring Prepare-Enrich Facilitators
Professional Qualifications & CredentialsPost Graduate Certificate in Counselling; BS Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; Gottman Level 1 trained; Certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator; Workplace Training & Assessment IV
Style of counselling and values
Paul and Christina co-facilitate pre-marriage sessions, and "workshop" marriages focusing on improving Communication and Conflict Management skills.
They have known each other for over 38 years (married 28 yrs) and share their insight and wisdom that God has granted them through daily mercy and grace.
Paul blends life experiences in a logical and emotional way, modelling how our brain (and partners) can collaborate to create a healthy balance for relationships and well-being.
Using The Gottman Method of couple's work and key factors from the Prepare-Enrich facilitation structure, he helps educate couples (younger and older) using the successful research-based skills to connect and re-connect couples.
"..tribulation produces perserverance; and perserverance, character; and character, hope." (Rom 5:3)
